Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supply Chain Data Scientist located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Data Scientist is responsible for making data-driven decisions and is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. You will work on designing and implementing web-based platforms, managing large datasets, and optimizing supply chain processes through advanced analytics.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to solve supply chain problems.

  • Translate business questions into quantitative models and actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to implement scalable data solutions.

  • Develop automated processes for data analysis, model development, and deployment.

  • Conduct data quality testing and validation of analytical solutions.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders using compelling data visualizations.

  • Build and maintain prototype analytics applications and dashboards.

  • Research and implement novel techniques in machine learning and statistical analysis.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS in business or equivalent work experience.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

  • Sr or mid experience in data science or analytics.

  • Proficiency in Python or R, with strong data analysis skills.

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, BigQuery, Snowflake).

  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML formats, and version control tools (e.g., Git).

  • Strong data visualization skills using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Streamlit, Shiny, or Dash.

  • Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take responsibility for projects.
