About Loan Ranger Capital
- Texas-based private lender focused on residential real estate
- We manage and operate our own REO properties in-house
- Fast-moving, practical, and operations-driven environment
Role Overview
- Inspect company-owned REO residential properties
- Primary market:
Austin - Regular travel to DFW, Houston, and San Antonio
- Mileage reimbursed for all travel
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
full residential inspections
on REO properties - Conduct
additional inspections as needed
, including: - General condition / punch-list inspections
- Progress or draw-style inspections
- Damage, vandalism, and occupancy checks
- Document findings with photos and written notes
- Complete inspection reports based on inspection type
- Communicate clearly with internal teams on property condition and risks
- Maintain consistent inspection quality across markets
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of inspection or construction experience
- TREC Professional Inspector license preferred
- Apprentice Inspector license acceptable
- Strong understanding of residential construction systems
- Comfortable working independently and managing travel schedules
- Detail-oriented and reliable
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to access crawlspaces and attics
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during inspections
