POSITION SUMMARY

Controls and supervises the operation of the WIP warehouse through the work of leaders, warehousemen and data capturers who report to him, in activities such as the reception of WIP, storage, transactions in time, assortment of materials to points of use and effective communication with production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for ensuring that all their work team operates under safety guidelines, implements and maintains 5s in their respective areas.

2. Distributes the workload of the personnel in charge to achieve the optimal flow and control of materials in the warehouse and WIP.

3. Standardizes their processes, documents them and keeps the procedures of their area updated for adherence to them.

4. Responsible for selecting, training and developing their work team.

5. Interact with the production, purchasing, planning, quality, and finance departments to seek solutions as a team in order to generate continuous improvement.

6. Responsible for reporting weekly the indicators of their area and generates actions to improve as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

College

4 - 5 years in Inventory Control and/or warehouse

Office Management, Oracle (Experience Desirable)

Required Experience


• Conducts performance evaluations and provides training to warehouse personnel.


• Ensures that the personnel in charge have PPE and tools to carry out the required activities.


• Audits inventory and its processes to ensure compliance with the veracity established in corporate policy.


• Coordinates, proposes and implements the continuous improvement of the flow of materials to achieve the desired level of maturity based on tools (Lean Mfg) for root cause detection, waste, PFEP, etc.


• Follows up on discrepancies found for correction to the inventory and the process to avoid recurrence of the root cause that generated it.


• Provides support in the coordination of annual physical inventory.


• Coordinates waste material shipments to recycler with approval and guidance from the finance team.


• Detects waste in its process and proposes savings projects.

    • On-time deliveries of material to production areas.
    • Veracity and receipts in time.
    • Veracity of Inventory.
