Requirements

• 3+YOE as an AWS Cloud Administrator with a focus on IaaS & PaaS components.
• DevOps, Scripting, Configuration Management, and Infrastructure automation
• Familiarity or experience with Dynatrace, GitHub, Terraform Enterprise, Service Now, Octopus Deploy or any other platform for continuous deployment, release management, and automation.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting, Terraform.
• Terraform or KCA certifications are a plus.
• AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certification are a plus.
• Advanced English level
• This position in required in our office in Aguascalientes.

Responsabilities
Virtual Machine Management

• Deploy and manage EC2 instances based on application requirements.
• Optimize instance types and configurations for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Have knowledge about auto-scaling and ELB configurations for dynamic workloads.
• Should demonstrate knowledge of EKS-specific components.

Storage Administration

• Provision and manage Elastic Block Store (EBS) volumes for EC2 instances.
• Establish backup strategies and implement EBS snapshots.

Backup Solutions

• Utilize AWS Backup to automate and manage backup processes.
• Define and implement backup policies for critical data and systems.
• Ensure data integrity and develop recovery procedures.

Network Configuration

• Have knowledge about Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) to isolate and connect AWS resources.
• Have knowledge about subnets, route tables, and security groups.
• Troubleshooting of network access issues (ingress and egress)
• Have knowledge setting Up the API Gateway, defining routes and endpoints with monitoring and logging.

Security

• Establish and enforce security best practices for AWS resources.
• Have knowledge about Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and permissions.
• Have knowledge about Firewall, Security Groups and ACLs.
• Knowledge of AWS organizations and how to manage permissions within them.

Log and monitoring.

• Have knowledge about CloudWatch (and CloudTrail) and how to setup security groups and consult log details.
