Job Description:

You will ensure that the HSE risk level is under control to avoid any injury for people or any environmental incident. You will also deliver HSE projects to improve on a regular basis the safety and environmental level of the factory in conformity to Mars Standards, and local regulation.

What are we looking for?
  • 5 years experience in a Health and Safety management role
  • Ability to work under pressure and work with minimum supervision
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Provide advice, instruction, guidance and support on all HSE issues.
  • Work closely with:
  • P&O to ensure that the annual training plan reflects HSE issues and that Occupational Health initiatives are fully aligned to P&O strategy.
  • Local Engineering, Production and Quality Assurance to ensure that all the applicable laws, regulations and standards are taken into account at every stage of each project undertaken.
  • The Regional HSE Manager
  • You will develop audit and inspection systems for all areas under HSE and ensures they are carried out
  • Must keep abreast of all developments within the HSE field
  • Take the lead in communications with the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and other Regulatory bodies. In addition, you would be the main contact for our insurers and solicitors in relation to Personal Injury claims
  • You will develop and coach the Safety Representatives and other HSE personnel to achieve the HSE plan.
