Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to incorporate a Business Excellence Leader (located in Guadalajara, Site Norte).
The role of Business Excellence Manager involves being in charge of continuously driving a culture of excellence within the organization and enabling waste elimination activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools, guiding actions toward a sustainable conclusion.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities defined in GBE A3.
  • Apply and deploy Flex Lean Enterprise values throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for presenting savings initiatives and creating value by reducing process variation to achieve sustainable results across the organization and segment.
  • Use Continuous Improvement techniques (Kaizen), initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions, and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.
  • Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and best practices.
  • Identify, drive, and yokoten kaizen projects based on best practices within agreed timelines.
  • Agile participation in the selection and execution of lean and six sigma projects.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement Transformation activities through Kaizen, workshops, and Small Group Activities.
  • Understand and use the Center Point portal as a repository to enable data research and cost-saving efficiency.
  • Obtain Industrial, Lean & Six Sigma training and certification to become a subject matter expert within the organization.

Experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or Engineering.
  • Experience in metal-mechanics is a plus.
  • Experience as Business Excellence Leader or similar position.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience leading improvement projects.
  • Experience in AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Conversational English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Teamwork skills.
