Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and driven Associate Project Manager to lead cross-functional product development projects from concept to launch. In this role, you will be responsible for managing schedules, facilitating team collaboration, and ensuring timely execution of deliverables. While this is an associate-level position, you will be expected to independently run projects and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

What you'll do

Project Leadership & Coordination

• Lead cross-functional project meetings with confidence and clarity.
• Drive day-to-day execution of project tasks, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Track and follow up on action items, deliverables, risks, and issues.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and escalate concerns appropriately.

Schedule & Documentation Management

• Build and maintain detailed project schedules using Smartsheet.
• Ensure all project documentation, templates, and phase deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist in creating and delivering slide decks for gate reviews and status updates.

Process & Tool Adoption

• Apply the Product Development Process (PDP) to guide project workflows.
• Utilize standardized templates and tools effectively.
• Identify and communicate process gaps or tool challenges, suggesting improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with product managers, engineers, planners, operations, quality, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment on project scope, timelines, and key milestones.
• Foster trust and collaborative communication across teams.

Who you are

• 2+ years of experience in project management or related roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Smartsheet experience is a plus; training will be provided.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to lead meetings, manage schedules, and drive accountability.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with product development processes (PDP) is a plus.
• Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment.
• Comfortable making decisions and escalating when necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Eager to learn and grow into a Project Manager role.
