ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Recognition Data Operations Support Specialist will assist in managing daily recognition operations across multiple regional projects. This role supports the team lead in establishing efficient processes, contributes to product updates and internal training, helps maintain and improve image recognition performance, and provides support with internal issues and escalations.

While the position includes analytical tasks, it is not a pure data-analysis or programming role, it focuses on operational coordination, data accuracy, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?
The tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor the performance of recognition data systems and report key operational metrics
  • Assist with the implementation of new tools, workflows, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams—operations, product, data, and delivery—to support project performance
  • Ensure processes are followed consistently across all assigned projects
  • Help troubleshoot operational issues and escalate them when needed

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus, but not required)
  • Solid understanding of Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to grow
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Based in Mexico, ideally Mexico City (not required, but preferred)
  • +2 years of Experience in Retail/CPG/FMCG market
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Good time-management & organizational skills
