As a Diagnostic Data Engineer, you will be the bridge between vehicle engineering and real-world serviceability. You will take ownership of the Odyssey data ecosystem, ensuring 100% accuracy in vehicle-to-data mapping and monitoring network topology availability via IVS. This role is not just about data management; it's about innovation. You will develop global diagnostic service functions, interpret CAN data using ISO 14229/UDS standards, and collaborate with suppliers to implement robust module solutions. We are looking for a proactive professional who responds to field issues with a "compete like a challenger" mindset and a passion for engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Odyssey & MDX Management: Oversee Odyssey product structure and data throughout the program lifecycle. Upload MDX data and optimize qualifiers to ensure perfect vehicle-to-system mapping.

  • Diagnostic Development: Design and develop global diagnostic service functions for Dealers and Customers. Implement Module DIDs to support datalogger solutions.

  • Network & Planning Support: Monitor IVS to ensure MDX/Network topology availability and provide critical status updates for DSP and New Program Planning.

  • CAN Data Expertise: Interpret and manage CAN data (ISO 14229 / UDS standards) to support application development, debugging, and system validation.

  • Supplier & Technical Interface: Partner with module suppliers to ensure service functions are implemented correctly and meet all technical requirements.

  • Validation & Field Support: Validate solutions through both simulation and on-vehicle testing. Respond to field issues with urgency and document modifications using Rally.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics.

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience interpreting CAN Data and a deep understanding of related standards such as ISO 14229 / UDS.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to manage complex data structures and troubleshoot network topologies (IVS/MDX).

  • Experience: Background in application development support, debugging, and system validation (simulation and physical).

  • Mindset: A "challenger" attitude with the ability to work under pressure, respond to field issues urgently, and adapt to new program requirements.
