Latin America Sales and Business Development Professional

Founded in 2016, Impairment Science is a leading provider of cognitive impairment detection technology. We are looking to expand our existing business in Latin America. Our patented-pending technology, DRUID, is an innovative technology that improves worker safety and wellness by reducing accidents, injuries, and fatalities. Using DRUID reduces costs while at the same time increasing productivity. Our product is currently utilized in industries where workers are exposed to safety risks - construction, manufacturing, transportation, mining, oil & gas, public safety, and others.
Position Description:
Impairment Science has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Sales Development Representative to develop and manage business accounts and in new and existing Latin America markets. If you are an entrepreneurial, self-motivated individual, this is a great opportunity for you. This opportunity is commission-based only. As a result, we offer high sales commissions on any closed opportunities. Individuals with experience in workplace safety and wellness are preferred. Candidates must be native speakers of Spanish or Portuguese with a high degree of English fluency. This is a remote position, open to professionals seeking full or part-time work.
More specifically, you will:
· Actively generate qualified meetings with a defined target markets including mining, construction, transportation, and manufacturing.
· Apply social selling tactics to generate new business.
· Work closely with sales leadership to develop territory and account plans.
· Support existing clients with demos, onboarding, and training administrators on the DRUID platform.
· Participate in discussions with management to develop lead generation strategies.
· Effectively uses marketing and sales automation using Hubspot.
Knowledge, Experience, Requirements:
· Bilingual in Spanish (or Portuguese) and English. Excellent communicator.
· 1-2 years of experience in a similar role carrying a monthly performance target, preferably in a B2B technology environment.
· A proven track record of sales pipeline generation and sales bookings.
· Experience in an outbound, cold calling sales environment.
· Comfortable overcoming common roadblocks and skills in building rapport with sales prospects.
· Proficient with technology, particularly with mobile apps and cloud-based management platforms.
· Experience using sales productivity tools like Hubspot to scale and track your efforts.
· Desire to grow a career in sales.
