Description
Product Development and Sustaining Engineer 2
Skyworks Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer with Semiconductor or Electronics Engineering background, for development and sustaining activities for semiconductor products. Candidates should enjoy analysis and work in an environment where personal ownership and initiative in seeking outside-the-box solutions is fostered.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production data using statistical software and review results in collaboration with product owners.
- Create prototype builds targeting product yield improvements and supply flexibility such as evaluation of alternate components along with other second sources.
- Lead the presentation of test data results into specialized board review meetings, been able to explain evaluations results for project feasibility.
- Create of customized weekly reports for customers using production statistical data.
- Calculate failure rates and statistical limits (Maverick) based on production historical data.
- Generate multiple of reports and documentation for new products in development in the automotive industry.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams such as design, process, test and reliability to help on the execution of multiple activities.
- Manage engineering production support for a set of specific products after they are transferred from Design to Mass Production.
Required Experience And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- At least 2 years' experience in semiconductor industry.
- 85% conversational English proficiency is needed.
Desired Experience And Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary.
- Experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-tasking environment with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with product development and related activities is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are required.
