Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated
Industrial Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
and
Top Level Assembly (TLA)
to join our dynamic team at Foxconn. The ideal candidate will drive process optimization, support production efficiency, and contribute to strategic planning across SMT and TLA operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize production processes
    for SMT and TLA lines to improve yield, cycle time, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement
    lean manufacturing initiatives
    and continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze and report on
    key performance indicators (KPIs)
    related to productivity, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support
    new product introductions (NPI)
    and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Support
    equipment selection, layout planning, and tooling design
    for SMT and TLA operations.
  • Ensure compliance with
    quality standards
    including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
  • Lead
    root cause analysis
    and corrective actions for process-related issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for
    material flow and inventory control
    .
  • Prepare and present
    technical reports and improvement proposals
    to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Industrial Engineering
    , Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience
    in SMT and TLA manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
    .
  • Familiarity with
    SMT equipment
    (e.g., pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI).
  • Experience with
    ERP systems
    , production planning, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
