Lead Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP FICO Consultant

This position is a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
It is important to mention that in some cases there will be required to participate in AMS support projects.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's / Engineering's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 7 years of experience with Information TechnologyThis position is based in Mexico (Mexico City / Monterrey or Guadalajara as base location) The location for this position is Mexico and will be in a hybrid mode, candidate may need to travel to office (if required)Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily (if required)All applicants authorized to work in Mexico are encouraged to applyPreferred Qualifications At least 7 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of ProcessesAt least 7 years of experience in SAP FICOAt least 7 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deploymentAt least 7 years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP FICO and integration with other process areasFunctional/technical proficiency in SAP applications related work, including at least 5 full lifecycle SAP FICO implementationsAt least two end implementation projects where you performed client facing role as Principal Consultant at client site  Expertise in Mexican localization topics like: Electronic invoice (CFDi), Payment complement (complemento de Pago), electronic accounting, Taxes, withholdings, among others Expertise in localizations for other LATAM Countries will be a plusStrong product expertise/business experience in SAP Central Finance and S/4HANA with specific focus on SAP Finance/Controlling/Accounting; strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FinanceKnowledge of upcoming changes in SAP FICO with SAP S/4HANA, as well as an eagerness to learn, prototype, and grow expertise in the latest SAP financial technologiesHands on experience in and knowledge of design, configuration and testing of core Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO)Good experience and knowledge of Accounts Payable, Banking, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Product Costing/Actual Costing/Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center AccountingKnowledge of key integration points with SAP FICO and other SAP modules, including COPA, ML, New GL, SD, MM, PP, PM, PS and T&ESAP FICO, Reporting, and Allocations experience a plusExperience with SAP Activate Methodology, and ABAP development/debugging a plusShould have worked on S4HANA RFPs as Functional consultantSAP product certifications are a plus.Expertise in SAP AMS support projects: L2 / L3 support, incident management, CMMi (desired)Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.Analytical and Communication skillsProject and talent managementExperience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
