Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing financial performance related to operating expenses, budget management, absorption, production order variances and scrap. This role provides accurate and timely financial insights that support decision-making, cost control, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze OPEX and CAPEX spending by department and cost center. Perform variance analysis and explain deviations of actuals Vs different versions of forecasts and previous year.
  • Detailed Analysis of overhead expense, by type, by area, by period, trends and variances actual to forecasts, to provide decision making information to local and corporate management.
  • Support annual budget (AOP) preparation and rolling forecast.
  • Participate in standard cost rollup , activity rates calculation and expense allocation process.
  • Track scrap levels, calculate financial impact, and generate scrap performance reports, year to year analysis, details by part number or scrap issue, non-conforming material review.
  • Forecast of production order variances calculation and analysis vs previous forecast, based on future demand, routings variances, yield and material used.
  • Analyze root causes of significant variances and prepare concise variance explanations for all production orders.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to reduce scrap and improve financial results.
  • Calculate with statistical tool metal forecast recovery
  • Prepare dashboards and financial reports for management.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support internal/external audits.

Requirements
Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Use of Microsoft software
  • Power BI, Power Point for high level executive presentations and reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel, Excel Macros proficiency.
  • English fluency (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Hyperion (preferred).
  • Use of Copilot (preferred)
  • Familiarity with production processes (preferred).

Experience

  • Experience of 4+ years in financial analysis, accounting, or financial planning.
  • Proven experience in building financial models and budgets.
  • Involvement in forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with financial ERP systems (SAP).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
