Project Manager I – Remote (Guadalajara, MX)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized Project Manager I to support and manage electromechanical projects from planning through execution. This role involves close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Advanced English proficiency is required, as this role involves frequent communication with international customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables by analyzing one-line diagrams and risers for custom-engineered products.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules aligned with customer and business requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
  • Manage scope changes, initiate change orders, obtain customer approvals, and coordinate project adjustments.
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation plans, and resolve issues to ensure project continuity.
  • Track project performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support small and mid-size projects under supervision while building project management expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid math skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management roles.

Work Environment

  • Fully remote position.
  • Continuous computer use in a standard home-office environment.
  • Fast-paced environment with deadlines and multiple priorities.
