TT Electronics' Mexicali facility houses 65,000 square feet of office and advanced manufacturing. With a large workforce of 126 employees, this site operates in multiple shifts with cellular production lines and 13 production cells. This site is ISO9001 certified and manufactures an array of technologies including variable and fixed resistors, EPS sensors, and trimmers.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Introduction

It ensures that processes comply with established quality standards, develops strategies that guarantee quality in both the process and the product at its various stages; if there is any deviation from the process or a customer complaint, it initiates the corrective action process and ensures that these actions have been effective, identifies errors, proposes improvements, and prepares quality indicator reports for decision-making

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance with the quality management system;
• Promotes the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking;
• Communicates the importance of effective quality management and conformity with the quality management system requirements
• Ensures that the quality management system achieves its intended results
• Engages in directing and supporting people to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system
• Ensures that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of International Standards ISO 9001 
• Ensures that processes are generating and delivering the intended outputs.
• Reports, in particular to top management, on the performance of the quality management system and opportunities for improvement; Ensures that a customer focus is promoted throughout the organization; Ensures the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when planning and implementing changes to the quality management system
• Manages customer concerns and leads the teams involved in handling the necessary corrective actions to ensure that nonconforming quality conditions do not recur 
• Responds to/Addresses customer complaints; When a process deviation or complaint from internal or external customers occurs, initiates the corrective action process, analyzes responses, follows up on proposed actions, and evaluates effectiveness.
• Defines, approves, and authorizes the application of quality requirements, quality plans, and quality control points to ensure the adequacy of controls and resulting products
• Provides expertise to control and/or analyze quality problems and resolve them through the implementation of solutions; It supports MRB to ensure the periodic disposal of materials

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

English 90 %

Core Tools , problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, and RCCA

Desireable Skills and Experience

3 years of experience Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100 Six Sigma tools Microsoft Office and MinitabPower BI
