This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs of connection systems and their components.
  • Ensure a good product designs, through Design Reviews, meet and / or exceed functionality, ergonomics and customer requirements (scorecard).
  • Verify the performance of the product, ensuring that the validation tests specified by the client are satisfactory.
  • Ensure that the deliverables to the client: prototypes, pilots, parts for PTR, etc .; they are satisfied in time and quality.
  • Provide Engineering support to the areas of tools, processes, manufacturing and quality.
  • Maintain responsible and professional contact with the Client.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements

Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic, mecatronic or related
  • Design 2D and 3D
  • GD&T
  • Problem Solving

Nice to Haves (i.e. Preferred Qualifications):

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
