Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the design, implementation, and deployment of mission-critical features, moving fluidly between Java backends and C++ core engines.
- Lead the creation of low-level design documents and technical specifications for cross-functional projects.
- Profile and optimize code at the machine level (C++) and the virtual machine level (Java) to ensure sub-millisecond latency and efficient resource usage.
- Conduct deep-dive code reviews to ensure adherence to SOLID principles; provide technical guidance to mid-level and junior engineers.
- Leverage Python or Go to build internal tools, test frameworks, or sidecar services that improve developer productivity and system reliability.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and progress clearly to product managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring technical constraints are understood.
Required Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Java (Memory Model, Concurrency, Spring Boot) and C++ (C++11/14/17/20, STL, Smart Pointers, and low-level debugging).
- Hands-on experience with JNI, JNA, or foreign function interfaces to enable communication between managed and unmanaged codebases.
- Competency in Python (for scripting/data processing) and Go (for lightweight, high-performance networking or CLI tools).
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix internals, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of Distributed Systems, Microservices, and Design Patterns (Creational, Structural, Behavioral).
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in plain English and write high-quality technical documentation.
