Role Definition:

• Provides supply network solutions expertise, using Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to deliver maximum value.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, managing and executing the category strategy managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.
• Recognizing the potential for cost decreases, inventory reductions and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business
• proposals and risk assessment.
• Acting as the liaison between the organization and the supplier to communicate information explicitly, while considering production demands and
• suppliers' conditions.
• Documenting the suppliers' performance on time sensitiveness and production; maintains a strong relationship with suppliers.

Degree Requirement:

• Engineering or bachelor's degree is required.
• Advanced English-speaking level is required.

Negotiating:

• Provides strategic guidance on business data analytics by linking financial, operational, and performance insights, ensuring data quality, anticipating challenges, and leveraging predictive modeling to inform decisions and educate teams.

• Builds effective relationships by understanding roles, adapting communication styles, considering diverse perspectives, and collaborating across teams to achieve shared goals.

Contracts Management and Administration:

• Manages departmental contracts by applying organizational procedures, ensuring compliance, reviewing documentation, and maintaining accurate vendor and contract records

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Manages supplier relationships by ensuring compliance with organizational policies, facilitating communication and negotiation, resolving critical issues, and monitoring supplier satisfaction.

Strategic Sourcing:

• Supports strategic sourcing by conducting data analysis and market research, following standards and policies, assisting senior professionals, and contributing to process improvements.

Top candidates also have:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (i.e. cutting, vending, punching, machining, painting) and their cost drivers
• Knowledge of steel specs (Caterpillar) & alternate material (commercial grades)
• Steel prices and market trends
• Cost break down and financial analysis
• Forecasting and capacity tools (NPE, CCT Tool, EPS)

Additional Information:

• This position will be located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.

• Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (7 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

• Must be willing to travel 40% of the time. Domestically and sometimes internationally

• Relocation is NOT available.
• Sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
