Sr. Database Engineer Specialist
Principales Responsabilidades

  • Guiar a las diferentes fábricas de migración en temas de bases de datos, resolviendo dudas e issues técnicos.
  • Orientar en la planificación y evaluación de remediaciones, mejorando la gestión de incidencias.
  • Definir y mantener estándares y mejores prácticas de administración de bases de datos, asegurando su cumplimiento.
  • Establecer directrices de configuración y migración de aplicaciones alineadas con lineamientos de seguridad, desempeño y disponibilidad.
  • Actuar como Subject Matter Expert (SME) para troubleshooting y resolución de incidentes críticos.
  • Compartir conocimiento y brindar coaching técnico al equipo, desde la planeación hasta la migración exitosa.
  • Analizar issues complejos y proponer soluciones proactivas y sostenibles.

Requerimientos

  • Modalidad: Híbrida (Oficinas en Insurgentes Sur, CDMX)
  • Inglés avanzado conversacional
  • Relacionales: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Progress
  • NoSQL: MongoDB (deseable experiencia en entornos cloud PaaS)
  • Azure
  • DBA Tasks: instalación, configuración, upgrades, patching, backup/restore.
  • Performance Tuning: optimización de queries, indexación, particionamiento, execution plans.
  • Alta Disponibilidad y DR: replication, clustering, SQL AlwaysOn, Oracle Data Guard, log shipping, failover.
  • Azure: curso o certificación preferente (Azure Database, DP u equivalente).
  • Seguridad: integración con LDAP/AD, roles, privilegios, hardening.
  • Gestión de vulnerabilidades: patch management, monitoreo de anomalías.
  • Migraciones: on-premise a cloud, cross-platform, schema/data conversion.
  • Conocimiento deseable en Data Warehousing y procesos ETL.
  • Certificaciones en Oracle y MongoDB (deseables).
  • Azure: curso o certificación preferente (Azure Database, DP u equivalente).
  • Conocimiento en AWS RDS o GCP Cloud SQL será un plus.
