About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate bids and proposals for glass and windows projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure all project scopes, materials, and labor needs are accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for glass and window projects
  • Review plans, specifications, and other project documentation to determine scope
  • Analyze labor, materials, and time requirements for competitive bids
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to clarify requirements
  • Assist in compiling bids and submitting proposals within deadlines
  • Maintain organized and complete documentation for all estimating activities

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 3+ years of estimating experience (construction)
  • Possesses strong knowledge of takeoffs, materials, and labor cost analysis
  • Is proficient in estimating software or Microsoft Excel
  • Excels in communication and organizational skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiar with software: Planswift, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft programs

Remote Work Requirements:

  • A minimum of two monitors for optimal productivity.
  • A quiet and dedicated workspace conducive to remote work.
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection for smooth communication and task execution.
