About our partner: A modern accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a diverse portfolio of growing clients. The firm partners closely with business owners and leadership teams to provide accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and actionable insights. About the role: The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in delivering high-quality accounting services while serving as a trusted partner to clients and an active contributor to internal teams. This position is well-suited for a professional who is comfortable wearing multiple hats—someone who can move seamlessly between hands-on execution and higher-level problem-solving.

What You'll Do

Client Accounting & Financial OperationsManage and maintain accurate charts of accounts to support timely, reliable financial reportingProcess and review accounts payable, including vendor setup and fraud prevention controlsPrepare and manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collectionsPerform thorough monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accountsPrepare and document month-end closing journal entriesMonitor budget vs. actual performance and proactively flag significant variancesProcess client payroll with careful attention to compliance and accuracyClient Relationship & Service DeliveryManage multiple client relationships while collaborating closely with internal delivery teamsDeliver consistent, high-quality service and maintain strong client satisfactionCommunicate clearly with clients regarding financial results, issues, and next stepsBalance billable hour goals with exceptional service standardsQuality Control & Process ImprovementImplement and maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention measuresContribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous process improvementsBecome proficient across multiple accounting software platforms, with a strong foundation in QuickBooks OnlineInternal ContributionsComplete internal responsibilities, including time tracking, capacity planning, and quarterly initiativesRepresent the firm's values and mission as a brand ambassadorUphold strict security and confidentiality standards to protect client assets

What You Need

Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or multi-client environmentsProven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneouslyTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processesHands-on experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, and journal entriesHigh proficiency with QuickBooks Online; ability to learn new accounting systems quicklyExperience implementing internal controls and fraud prevention practices

Salary & Perks

Competitive SalaryThis is a full-time, long-term position with benefits required by law.The position is immediately available.Work from home.Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (+/- 1 hour accepted)
