KAM Marine Coatings

As a Marine KAM, you will need to develop main accounts in the marine segment. This will ensure customer satisfaction, profitable growth, and market share in specialized coating products for vessels, offshore structures, and port applications.
You will report to PMC Protetive Platform Director Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure sales support teams meet internal and external customer requirements, aligning efforts to support goals.
- Build business plans to expand our client portfolio and increase regional business volume.
- Develop new business opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
- Manage quotations, orders, and customer deliveries to ensure and accurate execution.
- Request, manage customer credit lines to avoid disruptions to normal business operations.
- Coordinate the sales process for the maritime segment across Mexico.
- Define and align the product portfolio for new construction and dry dock projects, recommending adjustments.
- Analyze the market and define a sales pipeline, including customer recovery opportunities.
- Use the CRM system to manage the sales pipeline and track prospects and opportunities.
- Assess customer needs and propose market solutions aligned with those requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Naval Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or account management within the coatings industry; experience in marine or heavy industrial segments.
- Technical knowledge of industrial coatings, including anti-corrosion, antifouling, primers, and topcoats.
- Experience with coating application and maintenance processes in maritime environments.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Availability and willingness to travel.
