You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

  • Leading design development and strategic product selection for Steelcase's largest accounts.
  • Creating and maintaining design standards to deliver solutions that meet client needs and win business.
  • Collaborating with sales teams and multi-disciplinary internal and external partners to execute complex projects.
  • Managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timelines.
  • Applying design best practices to solve common and complex problems and identify process improvements.
  • Documenting and structuring design-related information to provide guidance and training to dealers and partners.
  • Building strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • 2–5 years of previous experience as a designer and in design roles.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing experience, including presenting design concepts, collaborating directly with clients, and managing feedback throughout the project lifecycle
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong creative listening skills to understand client needs and translate them into strategic design solutions
  • Ability to produce relevant, high-quality output with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative mindset with proven success working in cross-functional teams
  • Positive attitude, commitment to deadlines, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with Steelcase furniture specification (can be trained if not already experienced)
