Responsabilidades del Puesto
* Diseñar, implementar y monitorear programas y políticas de EHS para garantizar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones locales, nacionales e internacionales.
* Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos y auditorías de seguridad periódicas para identificar peligros, evaluar riesgos y recomendar medidas preventivas o correctivas.
* Investigar incidentes, accidentes y enfermedades laborales, determinando sus causas raíz y proponiendo acciones para evitar su recurrencia.
* Desarrollar y ofrecer capacitaciones de EHS a los empleados sobre temas como manejo de materiales peligrosos, procedimientos de emergencia, seguridad de máquinas y ergonomía.
* Gestionar y mantener la documentación relacionada con EHS, incluyendo permisos, registros de incidentes y planes de respuesta a emergencias.
* Colaborar con los equipos de producción y operaciones para integrar consideraciones de EHS en los procesos de diseño, fabricación y mantenimiento.
* Participar en la implementación de iniciativas de mejora continua en EHS y en la promoción de una cultura de trabajo segura y sostenible.
* Mantenerse actualizado sobre las nuevas leyes, regulaciones y mejores prácticas en materia de EHS.
* Actuar como punto de contacto para las agencias reguladoras y representar a la empresa en asuntos relacionados con EHS.

Cualificaciones del Puesto
* Título universitario en Ingeniería Ambiental, Ingeniería Industrial, Higiene y Seguridad Industrial o un campo relacionado.
* Mínimo de 1-3 años de experiencia relevante en un puesto de EHS en un entorno de fabricación o industrial.
* Sólido conocimiento de las regulaciones de EHS locales, nacionales e internacionales (por ejemplo, OSHA, EPA, etc.).
* Conocimiento en la implementación de sistemas de gestión EHS (por ejemplo, ISO 14001,ISO
* Habilidades excelentes de comunicación verbal y escrita, con capacidad para capacitar y presentar eficazmente a diferentes niveles de la organización.
* Capacidad para realizar análisis de causa raíz y resolver problemas complejos.
* Dominio del paquete Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) y Power BI.
* Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y como parte de un equipo.
* Nivel intermedio en inglés (conversacional y escrito).
