Senior Technical Business Analyst - Enterprise Development (Near Shore)

Our client, a well-established and nationally recognized organization, is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise software development initiative operating on an aggressive delivery timeline. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and engineering execution, translating complex objectives into clear, testable requirements that enable rapid, high-quality delivery. This is a highly technical BA role within a domain-driven, engineering-led environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with development teams, reading and reverse-engineering code to validate system behavior, uncover edge cases, and accelerate decision-making across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Security, and Operations to clarify scope, priorities, and delivery approach.
• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements including performance, resiliency, security, observability, and compliance, with clear acceptance criteria.
• Produce high-signal delivery artifacts aligned to fast-moving enterprise programs, including epics, user stories, detailed requirements, process flows, sequence diagrams, integration workflows, data mappings, business rules, exception handling, and API or event payload definitions in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Read and reverse-engineer application code and configurations to validate current system behavior, uncover implicit logic, trace workflows across services, identify integration points, confirm acceptance criteria against implementation patterns, and identify gaps, risks, and downstream impacts early in the lifecycle.
• Lead backlog refinement to ensure stories are delivery-ready with clear scope, sizing, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and manage cross-team and cross-system dependencies while maintaining risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to resolve ambiguity quickly and prevent rework.
• Support UAT planning and execution including test scenario definition, traceability, defect triage, and release readiness.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements through build, test, and deployment with living documentation aligned to delivered outcomes.
• Act as a delivery accelerator by removing blockers through crisp analysis, strong stakeholder coordination, and rapid turnaround.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including significant work in technical BA roles embedded within software engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise initiatives on compressed timelines.
• Strong understanding of modern delivery practices including Agile or Scrum, CI/CD, iterative delivery, and release management.
• Proven ability to read and interpret application code and technical artifacts to support requirements validation and impact analysis.
• Experience working with integrations and distributed systems including APIs, events or messaging, data flows, and identity or access patterns.
• Ability to write precise, testable requirements and acceptance criteria with minimal ambiguity.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to drive decisions across senior technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a domain-driven design environment with clear bounded contexts and shared domain language.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures, microservices, or hybrid integration landscapes.
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms in a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Familiarity with C# or .NET backend services and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular.
• Experience operating in regulated or enterprise environments with security, audit, and compliance considerations.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro or Lucidchart, and SQL or data analysis tools.
• Background supporting internal platforms or developer-focused products such as observability, reliability, or operational readiness initiatives.
