We are seeking an experienced
Legal & Business Affairs Manager
to support business operations across
Latin America, including Central America and Mexico
. This role will serve as a strategic legal partner to internal stakeholders, providing practical, business-oriented legal advice across a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in fast-paced, multinational environments, with the ability to balance legal risk management with commercial objectives. Fluency in
English
is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a trusted legal and business advisor to regional teams across Central America and Mexico.
  • Provide timely, practical legal support on a wide range of commercial and operational matters, including contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad variety of agreements, including commercial, marketing, vendor, licensing, and service agreements.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including entity management, corporate filings, and coordination with external counsel.
  • Advise on regulatory and compliance issues impacting business operations in the region, working closely with internal compliance teams as needed.
  • Identify legal risks and develop solutions that align with business strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective legal support.
  • Stay current on relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the region and proactively advise the business on potential impacts.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and projects, partnering closely with business, finance, compliance, and operational teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Law degree from an accredited institution; admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of experience
    as in-house counsel or with a reputable law firm, preferably with regional or multinational exposure.
  • Fluency in
    English
    (written and spoken) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business operations in Central America and Mexico is strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in commercial contracts and general corporate matters.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Experience in media, entertainment, advertising, technology, or similarly fast-moving industries is a plus.
