Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Quality & EHS Packing Manager to join our team. This opportunity lets you take a key role in maintaining the high quality of our packaging processes. You will also promote continuous improvement and lead a hardworking team to success.
- Serve as the primary contact for quality topics within the packing area, ensuring each production order meets our high standards.
- Collaborate with other packing areas using continuous improvement tools to achieve and maintain quality levels.
- Ensure the quality of our products through careful supervision and efficient quality tools.
- Follow up on EHS incidents with QEHS technicians and perform GLS with the packing team.
- Lead and manage the quality team across all shifts, ensuring effective resource administration.
- Monitor and develop skills and career development plans for each team member.
- Align activities between shifts, performing process confirmations on critical activities.
- Drive improvements in the QEHS Packing area to improve efficiency based on audits and technician feedback.
- Implement and support corrective and preventive actions to improve performance using LCI tools and quality tools, bringing to bear a multidisciplinary team.
- Manage the implementation of Continuous Improvement LEGO methods such as Six Sigma and Problem solving. These methods eliminate waste, improve efficiency, ensure quality, and boost productivity within QEHS activities.
- Proven experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in supervisory roles, managing personnel and resources.
- Proficiency with continuous improvement and problem-solving tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 8D reports).
- Experience in developing and integrating short-term and long-term strategies using Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong project management skills.
- Familiarity with SAP is desirable.
