Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara North.
Reporting to the Test Engineer, the Test Engineer's role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
- Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
- Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
- Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
- Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
- Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages like Python
- Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
- Develops test plans and procedures.
- Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
- Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
- Coordinates 3rd party development of Chamber Test activities.
- Performs failure analysis on functional test failures.
- Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
- Coordinates 3rd party development of Chamber Test activities.
- Experience in electronic industry (desirable).
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Intermediate English
- Bachelor's Degree
- Develops instrument drivers.
- Leadership for managing work teams and effective communication with other departments.
- Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
- Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
- Develops test plans and procedures.
- Knowledge of different types of functional Test: P2C, 2C, SNT, ASSY & HIPOT
- Network Knowledge: Apollo Clouds (APC) & Cisco Services (Token, SLE, SLP, Smart License)
