About the Company

We are a construction company based in Mexico City, currently acting as
General Contractor
on a commercial building project.

We are looking for an
integrated-profile Project Engineer
who uses
Revit as a coordination and construction support tool
, not just for modeling.

Role Overview

This role is focused on
technical coordination during the construction phase
, supporting the project team by integrating architectural, structural, and MEP information in Revit and translating drawings into buildable solutions on site.

This is
not a pure BIM modeling role
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain
    integrated Revit models
    (Architecture, Structure, and MEP at coordination level)
  • Provide direct technical support to the construction site, including drawing interpretation and issue resolution
  • Identify and coordinate clashes or conflicts between disciplines
  • Prepare and update construction drawings and details based on site progress
  • Support RFIs, scope changes, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with site supervision, subcontractors, and internal project team
  • Update models and drawings to reflect site conditions (as-built when required)

Requirements

Must-have

  • Solid hands-on experience with
    Revit
    in real construction projects
  • Engineering background (Architecture, Civil, MEP, or related fields)
  • Experience working during the
    construction phase
    , not only design
  • Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and basic MEP drawings
  • Understanding of construction workflows and site coordination
  • Willingness to work in a
    site + office hybrid environment

Nice to have

  • BIM coordination or clash detection experience
  • Knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing – at least one)
  • Experience with Navisworks and/or AutoCAD
  • Experience working for a General Contractor or multi-discipline projects

This position requires
active interaction with the construction site
and project team. It is not intended for candidates seeking a purely office-based or modeling-only role.
