WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Field Inventory Specialist (Consignment)

About the Role:

This role leads an operational field team and acts as a liaison between hospitals and the company's internal areas, ensuring that product consumption, replenishments, returns, and recoveries are carried out according to established processes and agreements, preventing losses due to expiration, inventory discrepancies, or contractual breaches. It is also responsible for managing and controlling consignments in hospitals and loaned material (non-consigned), ensuring proper availability, traceability, inventory rotation, and updating of consignment letters.

The position oversees a team of approximately 10 collaborators and requires a person with a strong sense of responsibility, proactivity, organization, and ethics, capable of coordinating multiple hospitals, prioritizing critical activities, and making field decisions to ensure operational processes. It is a highly operational and leadership role, with constant presence in hospitals, focused on punctual follow-up, operational discipline, and risk prevention related to consignment inventories and reverse logistics.

Job Description:

Consignment Inventory Management

  • Administer and supervise the complete process of consigned inventories with clients (from consumption to order generation for billing).
  • Ensure inventory reliability by reconciling physical and theoretical inventory, maintaining accuracy above 95%, detecting discrepancies in a timely manner to establish improvement actions.
  • Validate entries, exits, consumption, and replenishments according to consignment letters and contracts.
  • Ensure total product traceability (UPN, batch, and expiration date).
  • Monitor contracts and consignment letters closely.
  • Track products nearing expiration, report losses and expired items according to internal policies, and execute preventive action plans.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse the recovery of unused products, out-of-contract items, or those nearing expiration, ensuring timely and correct system registration.
  • Assign hospitals, routes, and operational priorities.
  • Resolve operational incidents related to inventory and documentation.
  • Generate and monitor KPIs for consigned and non-consigned inventories, evaluate the performance and compliance of the Field Inventory team, and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on inventory, expirations, and reverse logistics.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control and leadership positions, with strong ability to work under pressure.
  • Efficient use of inventory systems and technological tools for control and monitoring, interpretation of reports, indicators, and operational data for decision-making.
  • Intermediate–advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Office suite and SAP.
  • Ability to manage inventory for more than 500 accounts, handle priorities and critical dates without losing control.
  • Clear and professional communication with external clients and internal company areas, with the ability to resolve operational disagreements without affecting institutional relationships.
  • Practical approach to identifying root causes and executing solutions, with adaptability to operational changes, hospital schedules, and emerging priorities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering.
