Apple's Worldwide Developer Relations team (WWDR) provides the services, resources and guidance that empowers the world's most dynamic developer community to push the boundaries of innovation and bring the next big app ideas to Apple's platforms for customers worldwide. WWDR also offers programs to help developers connect with experts, learn about the latest Apple tools and technologies, and adopt best practices to supercharge app development.

As part of WWDR, Design and Technology Evangelists inspire and help developers create innovative, intuitive, beautiful, platform-native apps and games through design and technical videos, in-person and online events, workshops, and one-on-one consultations. Evangelists also brief and support developers for demos, and work closely with developers creating cutting-edge experiences for new hardware like Apple Vision Pro.

Evangelism team members are key contributors to the planning and delivery of Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) and Developer Center events - including leading the presentation production process, giving detailed slide design feedback, coaching speakers, and managing and staffing design and technology labs.

We are seeking an App Technologies Evangelist to join our WWDR team in Mexico. You will work directly with developers in this growing and vibrant region and collaborate closely with our broader Americas team to deliver fun and compelling apps and games experiences to our customers. You'll help third-party developers adopt the core system frameworks and APIs underlying the platform experience on Apple devices. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the user interface, architecture, and quality of apps and games enjoyed by millions of people every day.

Description

Work with developers to bring their apps and innovations to Apple devices across Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV, and Apple Watch.

Consult with leading developers to optimize, modernize, and adopt key Apple technologies.

Present core Apple technologies effectively and clearly to a broad developer audience.

Lead hands-on programming workshops and labs to assist developers with the adoption of specific Apple technologies.

Manage and develop relationships within the Mexican and broader Americas community.

Preferred Qualifications

Applied experience with Xcode, Swift, and SwiftUI.

Fundamental understanding of modern app development techniques.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Proven public speaking and presentation skills.

Dedicated individual who understands Apple's high standards.

Highly professional, with experience in delivering solid work on tight schedules.

Motivated, proactive, outgoing, and comfortable working in a loosely structured, collaborative organization.

Proficiency in Portuguese.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in app development, product management or technology evangelism.

Technical proficiency with the ability to translate features into consumer and developer benefits.

Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Software Design Engineering or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
