Job DescriptionThis position will work 100% onsite from Av. Valdepeñas No Col. Lomas de Zapopan 45130 Zapopan in Guadalajara. The candidate MUST reside in Guadalajara.
This position will be responsible for:
- Report directly to the regional supply planning leader.
- Have excellent cross functional visibility and interaction across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics Ops/Procurement, Supply Chain software systems, & ERP/Supplier Collaboration. This role is a great opportunity to get broad experience and exposure to senior leaders throughout MSI and within our supply chain community.
- Independently oversee the operational cadence and execution of all supply planning activities related to MSI's EMS based in Guadalajara - this is a new position that will be required to implement all standard tools, processes and policies to manage EMS performance
- Responsible for supply inbound to MSI directly from N. American EMS supply base to world wide internal and external customers.
- Coordinate with Business Operations and Delivery Management to align on revenue goals and improve customer experience.
- The role is the contractual execution leader from an operational perspective. This will include operational cadence, supplier performance management system, creation/execution of goals, evaluating inventory drives/impacts, approving/denying cost impacts, component safety planning and also close collaboration with Procurement.
- Key customer and regional owner for Supply Planning processes which will include cadence adherence and Supplier Collaboration tools
- Manage 5-8 direct reports (individual contributors).
- Participate in strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation.
- Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes. Travel as needed to MSI sites and suppliers sites.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree. Advanced level degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Production Control, Materials, Supply Planning or Purchasing. Previous experience communicating or presenting in front of C-levels is highly desirable.
- High Leadership skills demonstrated
- Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English
- Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to collaborate with a variety of technical and non technical audiences.
- Core analytic skills to independently diagnose and solve supply chain related issues in highly complex and ambiguous environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Slides and Excel.
- Along with experience in Tableau, PowerBI, experience in Oracle and/or SAP ERPs systems is preferred.
