Overview:

Plant Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with plant Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support and improve production quality. Ensure compliance with established quality KPIs and assist sites in achieving operational and customer performance targets. Support manufacturing process reviews, validations, and readiness assessments to ensure robust and compliant operations. Conduct PFMEA, process capability studies, and other risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks.

Quality Planning & Compliance: Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs), inspection criteria, and test methods for manufacturing processes and new product industrialization.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949, and applicable FDA requirements. Drive supplier quality management initiatives to ensure incoming materials and components consistently meet required specifications

Testing & Validation: Support Process Validation (PV) and equipment/process Qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) across manufacturing sites. Lead Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gauge R&R, and statistical performance evaluations to ensure reliable inspection and testing systems.

Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving: Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis techniques to investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues. Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), 8D investigations, and non-conformance resolution activities.

Identify and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase manufacturing efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and compliant quality documentation, including validation reports, inspection records, and non-conformance logs. Prepare and deliver quality performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to management and plant leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

The Leader Central Quality Assurance - Americas is responsible for driving quality performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across all Mexican manufacturing sites. This role partners closely with plant operations, supplier quality, and cross-functional teams to strengthen manufacturing processes, ensure product conformity, and elevate overall operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in

Engineering (Mechanical,

Electrical or Industrial),

with 7+ years of experience

in the technically related

fields.

• Experience in various roles

within departments related

to operations (Quality,

MFG, Procurement,

Engineering,

Industrialization)

• Six Sigma Black Belt/Green

Belt. Master the basic

quality tools of CPK, SPC,

etc,

• Internal Quality Auditor of

ISO9001. IATF16949

knowledge and/or

experience preferred.

• APQP and PPAP knowledge and experience
• Excellent Communication skills
• Project Management Professional
• Strong Leadership
• Strong ability to review, analyze and

tell a story using data

• Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, perform cost-benefit analysis, and understand financial metrics.
• Experience in international

companies

• Ability to travel up to 30%
• PMP (Project Management Professional): Recognizes competence in leading and directing projects.
• PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner): Demonstrates understanding of Agile principles and practices.
• PRINCE2 Certification: Offers a structured approach to project management.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish
