Senior Software Developer – Full Stack – Brasilia, Brazil / Hermosillo, Mexico (Hybrid)

Job Description

Our client is an innovative startup transforming the manufacturing and service industries with real-time digital twins of equipment and process. Their technology detects performance issues and automates resolutions. This enables the immediate detection of performance anomalies and the automated dispatch of help. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will use Python and Django to build next-gen applications that shape the future of business, rather than maintaining legacy systems. This role offers the chance to create transformative solutions and be part of a high-growth company.

Your New Role

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, playing a key role in shaping the company's technical strategy, leading system design, and driving innovation. You will collaborate with the internal teams to build and optimize cloud-native applications, develop robust integrations, and guide junior developers. Your contributions will directly impact the platform's scalability, security, and performance.

What You Will Need to Succeed

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and system architecture, with expertise in open-source tools and technologies.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and experience deploying scalable cloud-native applications.
  • Experience Proficiency in Python/Django and frontend frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS, or NextJS.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API development.
  • Strong knowledge of database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, OpenSearch, or similar technologies).
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and ensuring software reliability.
  • Leadership skills to mentor and guide junior developers, while making critical technical decisions.
  • Background in the manufacturing or service industries is a plus.
