About the role

Are you passionate about accuracy, process optimization, and turning sales into real cash flow? Join Birdman as an O2C Analyst (Order-to-Cash) and play a key role in ensuring the full and timely recovery of revenue through an impeccable Order-to-Cash cycle.

In this role, you will be responsible for auditing, controlling, and validating every stage of the O2C process, from order creation to cash collection, minimizing financial losses caused by deductions, penalties, or billing discrepancies. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Key Account Managers to protect Birdman's financial interests and ensure operational excellence.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Order-to-Cash Management:
    Oversee the end-to-end O2C lifecycle, ensuring accurate conversion of orders into cash.
  • Billing & Invoicing Control:
    Validate invoices against customer purchase orders, pricing, and fiscal requirements.
  • Accounts Receivable & Collections:
    Monitor customer payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely collections.
  • Deductions & Dispute Management:
    Audit deductions from retail chains and formally dispute unjustified charges through customer portals.
  • ERP & Data Integrity:
    Ensure data accuracy across ERP modules related to orders, invoicing, and collections.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis:
    Analyze O2C data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, O2C, or Deduction Auditing (preferably in FMCG/CPG).
  • Strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Intelisis, etc.).
  • Knowledge of retail chain portals (Walmart, Costco, HEB is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of logistics and delivery KPIs (OTIF, POD, appointments).
Nice to Have
  • Experience disputing deductions and penalties with large retail chains.
  • Familiarity with Trade Spend and margin control.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish; working knowledge of English is a plus.
