We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing the costs associated with the company's products. You will provide financial insights and support to ensure cost-effectiveness and assist in decision-making to improve profitability.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills, experience with cost analysis, and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, finance, or a related role.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP or similar) is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost allocation methods.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and identify trends or discrepancies.

Communication:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Attention to Detail:

  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment:
  • Hybrid working environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for on-site visits or audits.
  • Hours:
    Full-time, with occasional overtime during peak periods (e.g., month-end close, annual cost process, audits).
