Distribution Specialist

The Distribution Specialist is responsible for:

• Managing and maintaining hotel rates, inventory, packages, and content across all electronic distribution channels, including CRS, PMS, OTAs, wholesalers, GDS, B2B portals, and direct channels.
• Ensuring the correct configuration and ongoing maintenance of rate plans, room types, promotions, policies, and inventory in systems such as SynXis, NewHotel, HPP, MARSHA, and GDS platforms.
• Auditing distribution systems on a regular basis to ensure compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and distribution guidelines.
• Providing support to Operations, Reservations, Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing teams, ensuring rate parity, availability accuracy, and optimal channel performance.
• Testing and validating channel connectivity to guarantee bookable rates, correct content display, and seamless reservation delivery across all partners.
• Monitoring and resolving interface errors, rejected reservations, and connectivity issues, escalating cases when required.
• Coordinating with IT teams, system providers, contracting teams, and hotels to resolve technical and operational system issues.
• Supporting new property openings by loading hotel content, rates, inventory, and connectivity across all required systems, meeting established timelines.
• Managing Marriott distribution tools and platforms to ensure the correct execution of promotional strategies, offers, and technical requirements.
• Participating in audits, system testing, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on distribution efficiency and revenue optimization.

The ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor's degree completed in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Distribution, Revenue, Reservations, or related roles within hotels, resorts, or hospitality groups.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of hotel distribution systems such as SynXis, GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan), PMS, OTAs, and B2B platforms.
• Experience managing rates, inventory, packages, promotions, and multi-channel connectivity.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Previous experience with Marriott systems (MARSHA, HPP, EPIC, MarRFP) is a strong advantage.
