SAP SD/OTC Senior Consultant

We are seeking an experienced
SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant
to join a leading
Medical Equipment Manufacturing
company. This role is critical for optimizing and managing the end-to-end
Order-to-Cash (OTC)
processes within our SAP environment. The successful candidate will leverage
5–6 years
of functional expertise in SAP SD configuration and support, to Start Jan 2026 for 12 months contract first with extensions (long-term project) as Contractor Scheme.

This position requires a
hybrid work arrangement
located near
Av. Insurgentes Sur in Mexico City
, with a mandatory attendance of
three times per week (3x/week)
.

Key Responsibilities and Daily Tasks

This role demands experience with
SAP SD
and
Order to Cash (OTC)
processes.

  1. Sales Order Management

  2. Create and manage inquiries and quotations.

  3. Create and manage sales orders (VA01/VA02)
    , including
    ATP (Available-to-Promise) checks
    , credit checks, and handling delivery blocks.
  4. Configure and maintain core order structures: order types, item categories, and schedule line categories.

  5. Manage contract processing (quantity and value contracts).

  6. Pricing and Master Data

  7. Configure and maintain pricing procedures
    (e.g., PR00, discounts, surcharges, freight, taxes).

  8. Maintain condition records (using transactions like
    VK11/VK12
    ).
  9. Troubleshoot pricing errors
    and analyze pricing trace for complex scenarios.
  10. Maintain customer master data (partner functions, payment terms, pricing data) and resolve related master data issues (materials, customers, pricing conditions).
  11. Analyze quotation follow-up and conversion rates.

  12. Work with tax configurations (country- and region-specific).

  13. Logistics Execution & Fulfillment

  14. Create and process outbound deliveries (using
    VL01N
    ).

  15. Oversee key warehouse and logistics functions: picking, packing, batch management, and serial numbers tracking.
  16. Manage transportation planning and shipment creation.

  17. Post Goods Issue (PGI)
    and troubleshoot shipping blocks.

  18. Billing and Financial Integration

  19. Create billing documents (using
    VF01, VF04
    ).

  20. Configure billing types (e.g., F2, pro-forma, milestone billing).
  21. Handle invoice list processing, credit/debit memos, and returns processing.
  22. Work with
    credit management
    (new and classic), monitoring credit exposure, risk categories, and payment behavior.
  23. Ensure seamless
    integration with FI
    (Financial Accounting), covering document posting, revenue accounts determination, and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    5 to 6 years
    of hands-on functional experience with SAP SD and Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Advanced English (C1/C2)
    is mandatory. Must be able to participate confidently in technical discussions, write comprehensive documentation, and communicate complex business requirements clearly with international stakeholders.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certificate is a plus.
  • Work Location:
    Must be available to work
    3 times per week
    at the client site located near
    Av. Insurgentes Sur
    , Mexico City.
