About the Role

The SAP SD Consultant will design, configure, and implement SAP SD modules within the S/4 HANA system. This includes collaborating with business users to understand their needs, translating those needs into functional requirements, and configuring the SAP system to support those requirements. The role also involves documentation, testing, and project management tasks.

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate with business users to understand sales and distribution processes and identify areas for improvement using SAP SD.
• Design, configure, and modify SAP SD modules in S/4HANA to meet business requirements.
• Participate in testing and ensure a smooth go-live process.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP SD, addressing issues and implementing improvements.
• Engage in project management activities such as planning, execution, and monitoring of SAP SD projects.
• Work closely with other SAP functional areas (MM, PP, FI) and technical teams for seamless integration.
• Deliver training sessions for end-users on SAP SD functionalities.

Basic Qualifications

• 4 years of SAP SD experience + Document Reporting and Compliance (DRC)
• Strong understanding of SAP SD modules: sales order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and transportation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and its advanced features.
• Tax Reporting Configuration.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding the specific electronic invoicing requirements of Mexico.
• Interface Configuration: SD Billing Output connections with the DRC service
• Error Handling: to resolve issues when the tax authority rejects an invoice generated by SD/DRC
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills for SAP SD-related issues.
• Knowledge of industry-specific SAP SD requirements.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
