We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in production management, quality control, and team development. You will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and Lead Production Staff: Direct daily operations, including job assignments, scheduling, and training.
  • Meet Production Goals: Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Implement and enforce strict quality control and safety procedures. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Optimize Processes: Identify and implement improvements to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and Problem-Solve: Quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during production.
  • Report on Performance: Track and report on key production metrics, including output, quality, and downtime.
  • Mentor and Develop Team: Provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to your team to help them grow professionally.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: At least 6 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively relay instructions and report on progress.
  • Education: A degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
