Core Responsibilities

  • Staff management: Supervise, train, evaluate, and schedule warehouse staff; assign daily tasks and workloads.
  • Inventory control: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy of goods.
  • Operational oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, packaging, and shipping goods.
  • Safety and compliance: Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and that all staff adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Efficiency and optimization: Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and decrease costs.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Administrative duties: Handle administrative tasks, prepare reports, and maintain necessary paperwork related to warehouse operations.
