Location: Colomos 2300, Italia Providencia, Guadalajara, Jalisco, México.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the development of a third or fourth language among students.
  • Lead group lessons and activities.
  • Engage students in speaking, reading, writing, and listening activities.
  • Monitor student progress and issue progress reports.
  • Foster student independence by guiding them to follow classroom rules, routines, and instructions, start tasks, and work autonomously.

Social–Emotional Support

  • Stay attentive to students' needs and encourage socialization inside and outside the classroom.
  • Communicate any social–emotional concerns to the Academic Coordinator.
  • Build positive relationships with students and motivate them in learning a new language.

Classroom Management

  • Prepare materials, resources, and classroom decorations.
  • Substitute for classes when needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in Teaching Mandarin Chinese as a Foreign Language.
  • HSK Level 5.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English preferred.

Required Professional Skills

  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible when teaching students of different ages and language levels, from age 4 through adults.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with students.
