Job Description Job Description Responsibilities:.Responsible for maintaining sourcing pipeline, benchmarking data, strategy presentations, global budget and on-time metrics• Adhere to corporate and unit purchasing and accounting practices and procedures• Sourcing and Contracting Activities that include, but not limited to:o Sourcing event bid strategy & managemento Bid analyticso Coordination and alignment of RFQ package components, including Terms & Conditions, SOR, technical documentationo Leadership sourcing recommendation / alignment• Management of sourcing documentation related to bid events in adherence to the GM Audit Services• Cooperate with legal to negotiate special contract terms• Daily supplier interface activities on all commercial items• Support commercial budget activities• Support logistics supplier management initiatives, including "Strategic Supplier Engagement"• Nurture relationship with strategic suppliers by acting as a focal point for commercial issue resolution• Perform rate management activities including spot buys, rate analysis and supplier requests• Participate in supplier KPI reviewsKey Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Advanced English4 years Door Trim ExperienceAbility to work in competitive environmentProactiveness in leadership in their activitiesPartner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.General Motors is committed to being a workplace that is not only free of unlawful discrimination, but one that genuinely fosters inclusion and belonging.
