Analyst – Strategy Consulting

Our Firm

CF Corporation is a global leading firm in the human capital and technology space, operating, investing and advising since 1982, operating in 119 countries across our 30 individual companies across four key themes:

  1. Our Human Capital entities deliver leadership and talent management solutions.

  2. Our technology firms provide cutting-edge digital solutions across elements such as AI, data, cybersecurity, and cloud technology, amongst other areas.

  3. Our own investment fund invests into companies and manages our assets in the capital markets, also collaborating with our sister firm in corporate finance.

  4. Our philanthropic firm provides welfare and education for children with the vision of becoming one of the world's first fully sustainable and self-funded foundations.

Your Focus

As an Analyst within CF Corporation's Consulting practice, you will be part of the holding firm, supporting all of our entities, although primarily in technology and human capital, serving external clints on various mandates.

You will work directly with senior clients on high-impact strategic challenges from day one. You'll operate at the centre of complex decision-making, helping leadership teams define priorities, test strategic options, and move from insight to action.

You will apply structured thinking, analytical rigour, and commercial judgement to a wide range of engagements. This includes researching organisations and markets, forming and testing hypotheses, translating data into clear insights, and shaping recommendations that stand up at board and executive level. Beyond analysis, you will support clients in turning strategy into execution, helping manage delivery and drive real change.

The role comes with early responsibility in a demanding, collaborative environment. You will be expected to lead workstreams, contribute confidently in senior discussions, and mentor junior colleagues, while continuing to develop your own consulting and leadership capability. The learning curve is steep, expectations are high, and the exposure is significant, suited to individuals motivated by solving difficult problems, working at pace, and building a long-term career in consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver workstreams on strategy and leadership consulting engagements for senior clients
  • Conduct independent research, including market, industry, and competitor analysis
  • Build and maintain quantitative and financial models to support strategic evaluation
  • Synthesize data and analysis into clear insights that inform client recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of client presentations, reports, and supporting materials
  • Work closely with senior consultants to structure problems and evaluate strategic options
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with client teams and stakeholders
  • Apply and develop consulting methodologies and analytical frameworks
  • Support practice development activities, including research, knowledge sharing, and proposal preparation

This role is about supporting senior decision-making through rigorous, structured analysis.

You can absorb complex information quickly, assess businesses, markets, and organisational challenges with discipline, and form clear, well-reasoned views. You approach problems with structure and commercial judgement, and you are comfortable working with ambiguity as client situations evolve.

You bring pace, resilience, and strong attention to detail, and you work effectively with senior colleagues with minimal supervision. You contribute thoughtfully to discussions, consider alternative perspectives, and use them to strengthen recommendations and outcomes.

This role suits someone who is analytically strong, commercially aware, and prepared to be accountable for the quality, clarity, and impact of their work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a leading university; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage
  • Experience in broad consulting or a comparable commercial role. We also accept individuals form research firms and financial services investment banking. If you believe you have what it takes to be a consultant and not from these disciplines, we encourage you to apply
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience building models in Excel
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and basic financial analysis
  • Ability to structure complex problems and translate analysis into clear recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with changing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in small, high-performing teams

We are open to considering candidates with experience outside of these brackets, if you feel you have the capabilities to deliver on our main criteria.

We consider any degree or subject and although your grade indicates your ability to absorb data and apply it, your degree grade does not influence your chance of applying to us and being interviewed.

Process

This application shall be open for the next seven days for our Mexico office. We prioritise applicants with the right to work in Mexico. If you do not have the right to work in Mexico, you may still apply and we can potentially procure a working permit for you. Bear in mind that we are hiring across many of our global offices and shall post a vacancy for each relevant location, every week. Follow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date on vacancies we post, by location.

Your first step is to apply with your LinkedIn profile. We do not require a CV or covering letter, but if there is experience or work that cannot be clearly represented on your LinkedIn profile, you are welcome to share this separately on your application.

We aim to respond within two weeks of receiving your application. Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to provide individual feedback. You may reapply for the same position after at least 12 months has passed, which we consider as a reasonable period for meaningful professional development to merit reapplying.

Successful applicants will be invited to an initial interview with our HR team, followed by a conversation with one of our Consulting Partners. We will ask you a series of interpersonal and technical questions, so we can understand how you think, your motivation, and the experience you bring.

Subject to the outcome of the initial interviews, the next and final stage involves attending our Mexico office. We typically select eight candidates at this stage. You will take part in exercises that allows us to assess how you interact with people, form solutions and manage ambiguity. You will also meet with two Partners in the firm to further discuss your career aspirations, expertise and discuss scenarios to understand your capacity to think.

All reasonable travel and accommodation expenses related to the process will be covered. Feedback is provided at the end of the day, and in some cases an unconditional offer may be made. We have also been known to hire more than one person, depending on capability.

  • You will have a dedicate mentor for your career development pathway, built around real work, feedback, and exposure to senior leaders

This role is designed for people who want pace, exposure, and accountability. Our reward program is structured for those that understand the level of performance required.
