Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr.Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager, Sr. Quality Engineer role involves developing, implementing, coordinating, and performing quality assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
- Collects, researches, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of management team.
- Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities.
- Works with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals.
- Develops initial and subsequent modifications of Design Quality Assurance program to delineate areas of control, personnel requirements and operational procedures within program.
- Conducts and participates in management meetings with design department heads to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish controls and procedures for attaining goals.
- Interface with customers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives.
- Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Experience in manufacturing and electronics industry required.
- PCBA inspection knowledge & execution.
- Proven experience working in visual inspection using a microscope (10X).
- BA/BS degree.
- Experience in NPI & massive production projects.
- Previous leadership experience managing inspectors' team.
- Advanced English level.
- Teamwork and collaborative attitude.
- Attention to customer requirements.
- Previous experience monitoring KPIs.
- Flexible working hours.
