Responsibilities:

The Opportunity

The Email Operations Consultant ensures every email is thoroughly reviewed, validated, and ready for deployment across Customer Relationship Management and loyalty campaigns. Using expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud's content tools and quality assurance best practices, this role assembles and checks email assets built from pre-approved templates and modules.

Working closely with the Content team and Activation roles, the Consultant ensures all assets meet quality standards and QA checkpoints before launch. As the team's expert in content configuration and validation, this role safeguards operational precision and delivers consumer-ready email experiences—without requiring coding or backend development.

Your Impact

As an Email Operations Consultant, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end quality assurance process for email assets, ensuring visual, functional, and branding standards are met.
  • Conduct thorough checks including rendering previews, link validation, subject line review, and dynamic content accuracy.
  • Maintain and continuously improve QA documentation, checklists, and internal processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Leverage platform features such as subject line testing and predictive content blocks to optimize email performance.
  • Partner with the Content team to confirm asset readiness, including images, copy, and creative components.
  • Collaborate with Activation and Campaign Coordination roles to meet timelines and QA checkpoints prior to launch.
  • Flag issues beyond drag-and-drop configuration and coordinate with technical teams for resolution when needed.
  • Identify recurring challenges and propose improvements to templates, content modules, and campaign processes to strengthen quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?

  • 3–5 years of experience in email marketing operations, quality assurance, or related roles, focusing on campaign validation and execution readiness.
  • Fluent English
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms, including email content creation and testing tools.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on brand consistency, technical accuracy, and flawless consumer experiences.
  • Familiarity with email rendering tools and cross-device testing best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Content, Activation, and technical teams.
  • Experience in enterprise or high-volume environments is a plus, ideally in consumer goods, retail, or data-driven industries.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, email compliance regulations, and email performance metrics, with certifications such as Salesforce Email Specialist considered an advantage.
