Accounting Analyst

We're looking for a proactive Junior Accounting Analyst to support the bank's financial and regulatory accounting processes. If you're passionate about learning how a regulated financial institution operates, participating in key accounting cycles, and contributing to accurate, compliant reporting, this role is for you.

Challenges that await you:

  • Participate in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general accounting records.
  • Understand and support compliance with the
    Circular Única de Bancos (CUB)
    and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Understand accounting processes related to provisions, taxes, reserves, loan portfolios, and treasury operations.
  • Oversee and participate in account reconciliations, integrations, and the preparation of information for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate closely with Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and data accuracy.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to automation, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
  • 1–2 years of experience in financial or regulatory accounting within banks.
  • Knowledge of NIF and CNBV regulations (desirable).
  • Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Intermediate–advanced English for reporting or internal communication.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting audits (internal or external).
  • Familiarity with loan portfolio or treasury accounting.
  • Interest in automation, digital tools, or accounting process optimization.
  • Curiosity about regulatory frameworks and banking operations.
