PLANT CONTROLLER

JOB OBJECTIVE

The Plant Controller is responsible for managing all financial operations of the manufacturing plant. This role combines accounting expertise with strategic leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with company policies. This role provides quantitative and qualitative analysis to guide plant decisions and implements governance to control costs and expenses. Acting as a key business partner to plant management, providing insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability

YOUR TASKS

Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly variance reports & monitor actual results against budget and provide actionable recommendations.
Costing: Analyze manufacturing costs, including material, labor, and overhead variances.
Reporting & Compliance Ensure timely and accurate financial statements & coordinate internal and external audits and address findings.
Operational Support: Partner with plant leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities & Support capital expenditure requests and track project spending.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop the plant controller jr.
Internal Controls: Maintain robust systems to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (preferred).
  • Previous experience as Plant Controller.
  • Minimum 5 years in financial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of CAPEX and manufacturing processes.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal control frameworks.
