We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in property accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and timely reporting. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of property accounting, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Record and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and prepayments
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation schedules
  • Prepare variance analyses for assigned properties in collaboration with property management teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and lease agreements
  • Partner with property management teams to provide financial insights and resolve accounting-related issues
  • Assist with external audits and tax filings by providing schedules and support documentation
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
  • Preferred: Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in property accounting
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Preferred: Experience in Senior Housing, Real Estate, Hospitality, or Healthcare
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Yardi
